As if saying goodbye, two classic Canadian animals appeared. Yesterday's, a week before departure, amazingly close to the trail at Bissett Lake, was the most emblematic, but a couple days ago another reminder hid in the bushes with four others just behind the Atlantic Theology School.
Soon, very soon, they'll be wombats and roos. With minus 15 reported for our day of departure (Saturday - today's Monday), that's especially hard to believe.
